As the name shows, Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom is the sequel of Sonic Dash and is also published by Sega. Because Sonic Dash 2 extends from the TV series Sonic Boom, it is not surprising that fans of the TV series and the characters, such as Sonic the Hedgehog, will be interested in this game. Like all endless running games, your goal is to let your character run safely as long as possible and shoot the highest possible score you can ever get. To get a higher score, you need to avoid various obstacles, attack mines and enemies, and collect gold rings and orbs.

One of the features of Sonic Dash 2 is its characters. All five characters are from the TV show on which the game is based. Each character has its own special powers. For example, Sonic has his Dash Ring Magnet, so when dashing, he can automatically collect rings and orbs. Tails have a chance to revive, which would normally cost one red star ring each time you revive. Also, new team members are waiting for you! Unlocking them by taking part in special events or getting them when you have enough red star rings, which can be collected during each run. Each character can be leveled up by investing rings and red star rings. Leveling up can make your characters more efficient in getting scores.  

If you want to experience more variety in this game, you could win some sprites, which are magical companions for the characters. There are almost 50 different sprites to earn. Each of them has some special powers. For instance, if you have Shelly, you have three extra chances to revive. But Shelly is a one-time sprite, which means if you want to play with it more than once, you need to get it more than once. There are forever sprites as well. You can level them up, upgrading their ability to help you. For example, a Tier 1 Flux can make magnets last 10% longer, while a Tier 3 Flux can make magnets last 150% longer. This game can train your multitasking skills, and with the attractive graphic, it is a good choice if you want to relax and exercise your brain and fingers a little bit.
