Cartoon Jigsaw - Puzzle Book is a puzzle game I recently reviewed that has a promising concept but falls short in its execution. The idea of combining a puzzle game with popular cartoon characters is appealing, especially to fans of both. The game features a variety of puzzles based on scenes from classic and modern cartoons, and initially attracts players with a sense of nostalgia and fun. The game's illustrations are well done and vibrant, capturing the essence of the cartoon. The game mechanics are also well thought out, with different levels of difficulty for the puzzles, making it easy for players to choose puzzles that suit their skill level. The game is also very easy to use, just drag and drop.

However, the game suffers from a few key issues that detract from the overall experience. While the initial experience is enjoyable, the game becomes repetitive over time. Due to the lack of innovative gameplay mechanics, the excitement of the game begins to wane after completing a few puzzles. And the puzzles themselves, while visually appealing, don't offer much variation in theme or style. This can leave players feeling monotonous, especially for those who prefer a more dynamic gameplay experience.

Another major drawback is the game's aggressive monetisation strategy. The frequent adverts and push for in-app purchases can be quite annoying to players, disrupting gameplay and reducing enjoyment. Players will often have to watch adverts or make purchases to unlock additional content, which can be frustrating and detract from the overall experience.

Overall, Cartoon Jigsaw is a good game, but it needs a lot of improvement in the areas of variety, advertising mechanics, and gameplay innovation. With these improvements, Cartoon Jigsaw could become the go-to jigsaw game for cartoon fans and puzzle enthusiasts alike.
