Little Corner Tea House is a sweet, laid-back casual simulation game that feels like a lazy afternoon. Take on the role of Hana running her small tea shop, and it is an experience where you balance existing management mechanics with comforting world-building. This is a lazy game but also a cozy little computer especially for you.

It is more complex of a gameplay loop than you would expect from a casual title. I was totally blown away by the "Get Real Planting" feature. This is not many cooking games that rush straight to the stove, instead forcing you into every pew of tea's life cycle: seeding, picking, drying and baking. I like this attention to detail, it adds an additional level of immersion. Moreover, the ordering system is actually pretty interesting. The customers bring their requests to you in riddle format, so they come up and say things like "Merry Clouds" when what they mean is a drink with whipped cream on top. Figuring out these clues to reveal over 200 recipes from spice teas, coffees, the works invigorates your mind while chill background music chills it.

Outside the confines of tea house, creative freedoms abound. Customizing unique dolls and decorating the shop provides a lot of room for personalization. I really liked "Themed Adventures" as well where you can send your dolls on expeditions such as a trip to the Sunny Island Adventure for resource gathering. Covering over 70 seasonal events, from Steampunk City to Greek Mythology; there is always something visually different.

In the end, Little Corner Tea House does what it wants to do: It offers a relaxing getaway. And sitting and listening to the customers tell their stories and then watching one of these illustrated narratives come alive makes everything feel breathing, full. If you want to banish your busy thoughts and have a creative, heartwarming experience this is the perfect brew for ya.
